We thought we would send you a short note to let you know just how satisfied we are with the “DogWatch Hidden Fence” you installed around our property. As you know this is the fourth fence of this type we have installed around our different homes, and there is no doubt that the Dog Watch Hidden Fence has features that are superior to all of the other brands we have used.
We have been really impressed by how effective this fence has been. Our Tennessee Brindle Hound (Baxter) loves to follow his nose and really wants to socialize with other dogs but, despite the fact that our property has a 100yd frontage with a road frequently used by other dog walkers, he has never crossed the “fence” after only a short period of training.
There is no doubt that working with you has been a real pleasure. From day one you have been happy to answer all of our questions and to fit in with our time and property constraints. In particular we are convinced that your knowledge of humane dog training led to Baxter being trained to the “fence” so quickly. We wish you the very best of luck with “DogWatch of Vermont”. We have had the DogWatch fence for nearly two years and not only are we completely satisfied with the system, but we do not hesitate to tell our friends and co-workers of our satisfaction. The mechanics of the system worked as promised, even the batter back-up, which living in Vermont has come into service several times. We are most pleased with the training DogWatch supplied at the time of installation. Our dog broke through the fence only once, early in the training process, and now doesn't even nee the collar on to respect the fence. The training for our dog and ourselves, provided by DogWatch was essential. We are very happy we did not buy a system and install it and train our dog ourselves.

Roy came to my house earlier this year to install a fence and help train Yoshi. Anyone who knows Yoshi knows that she LOVES to follow her nose and we had issues with her bolting and digging out for years. The fence has improved our quality of life, reduced my stress levels and helps keep Yoshi safe.

We wanted to thank you for the service you have provided with the install of our new DogWatch Hidden Fence system. During our search for a reliable containment system for our two babies, Rebel a 5-year-old Lab mix and Kirby our 7-month-old Boxer, we researched options from do-it-yourself systems to Invisible Fence. Invisible fence wanted almost twice as much as your price and the do-it-yourself systems did not seem all that reliable.
After placing the order you showed up on time and in no time at all had the system installed and ready for use. The time you spent training our pups was invaluable and after two sessions Rebel and Kirby learned their boundaries. Your final visit you brought you own dog just to be sure ours would not cross the boundary if focused on a new friend.
Living on a busy street our biggest fear was one of our dogs would run into the street when we were playing with them. To mitigate that risk they were confined to leash or a small run. With DogWatch Hidden Fence installed I am now able to play fetch with both of the babies as well as let them run and wrestle in the yard with no fear of them running into traffic. Thank you for everything!

This review is long overdue - we HIGHLY recommend Dogwatch of Vermont! We had a baby in March and didn’t want to have to worry about caring for a child and taking out the dog at the same time. Dogwatch of VT was just what we needed! Scheduling was very easy and convenient (spoke with Roy’s wife). We have a rescue, Haley and she’s very nervous/anxious around new people. Roy was extremely informative, helpful and patient in working with her. He actually was able to give us addition tips/recommendations in working with a nervous dog. Roy has been training dogs for years and it shows. We live on 5 acres and we were worried the invisible fence wouldn’t contain her. Haley has yet to break out - she knows the boundaries and with Roy’s training, learned very quickly. As far as maintenance, something happened with the wire and we were able to get someone out very quickly. Highly recommend - very happy we got the invisible fence and training with Roy.

Roy was patient and knowledgeable. I have crazy little dogs that chase everything and Roy helped me teach them how to respect the invisible fence. When my dogs needed an emergency bath (which meant the collars also) Kim was very helpful on how to care for the collars.

Of all the things we have bought for our Lacey, our DogWatch fence is the best investment ever! Roy came by for a quote, and was able to install the fence the very same day. But what was invaluable was the training he provided that shortened Lacey's learning curve considerably. We learned so much from him. Now in the morning, Lacey gets excited when we put on her collar because she knows she can go exploring, running, digging and just plain basking in the sun without us worrying. We kind of tripped onto this wonderful man and his company by accident.
Altho we were attempting to install an invisible fence ourselves, purchased elsewhere, he was next door installing an underground fence for our new neighbors.
I walked over and introduced myself and asked if he could assist us afterwards.
Even though he did not sell us initially our fence, he came over and spent a very long time with us, explaining how it worked and assisted us in training our dog.
We did purchase the much nicer and more reliable wiring, he grounded our transmitter and did everything for us that needed to be done..
As a result because of his kindness and knowledge we are going to purchase the remainder of his fence and package.
This man knows everything and more about these fences.
Please if you are considering an underground fence he is the one to contact.
He is reliable and your money will be well spent.

Roy was great. He really knows dogs and had ours accustomed to the fence very quickly. It was not traumatic for anyone involved. My dog loved him. He was attentive and made sure everything was working for us and that we were satisfied. Its been 2 years. The fence has been great, and we've had no problems. Any questions we've had have been answered quickly and professionally by everyone we've come in contact with at DogWatch of VT.
